Stephen Raffay has been a professional photographer for 25 years. He has been experiencing Africa since 1979 and has previously lived in South Africa for 4 years. Now his home is based in La Jolla, California. He returns to Africa to photograph its wilderness and wildlife. This website is created to share the beauty of Africa, its wildlife and some of its tribal people. The photographs are taken from several countries in Eastern and Southern Africa. All of the "Big Five" which are Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Elephant and Cape Buffalo are included as well as endangered animals such as African Wild Dogs. Many other species such as Hyena, Cheetah, Antelope, Birds, as well as landscapes and other flora and fauna are also included. Many of these images make great wall portraits and gift cards.
